Alberta Task Force Calls for Immediate Halt to COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines
The Alberta government has released a groundbreaking $2 million, 269-page task force report that is making waves with its bold recommendations to suspend the use of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, particularly for healthy children and teenagers. This comprehensive review, spearheaded by Dr. Gary Davidson, former chief of the emergency department at Red Deer Regional Hospital, sheds light on serious safety concerns, data gaps, and the need for a cautious, evidence-based approach to pandemic responses.
Key Findings from the Alberta Task Force Report
Call for Transparency and Halt to Vaccination in Children
The report recommends halting the use of COVID-19 vaccines unless there is full disclosure of their potential risks. It unequivocally advocates for ending their use in healthy children and teenagers. These recommendations aim to address growing concerns about vaccine safety, efficacy, and the lack of long-term clinical data.
Disturbing Safety Data and Lack of Risk Assessment
The report highlights critical safety concerns associated with the vaccines, citing data from Pfizer’s post-authorization trials. Within just four days of vaccination, 1,223 deaths and 42,086 injuries were reported. Alarmingly, nearly half of these adverse events occurred in individuals aged 18-50, a demographic with minimal risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes. Furthermore, the report reveals a shocking 87.5% fetal/neonatal mortality rate in limited trials conducted on pregnant women.
The task force underscores that Health Canada’s decision-making process to approve these vaccines was fraught with “significant gaps” in data, raising questions about whether a proper risk assessment was ever conducted. The report criticizes the reliance on emergency use authorization, which expedited vaccine approval but failed to ensure long-term safety evaluations.
Issues with Lipid Nanoparticles and Myocarditis Risks
The report also raises alarms about the use of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) in vaccine delivery. These synthetic fat molecules have a well-documented toxicity profile, with concerns about their potential long-term health impacts. Additionally, the task force flags the increased risk of myocarditis and pericarditis—heart conditions that can have lifelong and potentially fatal consequences—particularly in young individuals.
Challenges with Transparency and Public Health Accountability
The Alberta review sheds light on significant discrepancies in clinical trials, including inadequate follow-up, missing data, and conflicts of interest. Underreporting of adverse events is another critical issue, with only 1-10% of cases properly documented. These challenges make it nearly impossible to conduct independent analyses or verify safety claims made by public health authorities.
One of the report’s contributors, molecular virologist Dr. David Speicher, expressed disappointment that the Alberta government delayed the report’s release by six months and quietly published it without a proper press conference. Dr. Speicher described the report as a “well-written critique” of the province’s pandemic response and emphasized its potential to spark essential discussions on vaccine safety and government transparency.
A Path Forward: Prioritizing Evidence-Based Policies
The task force’s findings highlight the need for a cautious and transparent approach to public health policies. Dr. William Makis, one of the report’s contributors, emphasized the importance of informed consent and rigorous risk-benefit analyses in future pandemic responses.
The report calls for:
- A reevaluation of the safety profile of mRNA vaccines.
- Enhanced support for individuals injured by vaccines.
- Improved transparency in regulatory decisions.
- A robust opt-out mechanism from federal public health mandates.
The Alberta task force’s report is a significant milestone in addressing the ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. Its bold recommendations demand immediate attention from policymakers, public health officials and the broader medical community. By prioritizing transparency, accountability and evidence-based decision-making, Alberta sets a precedent for a more cautious and responsible approach to future public health challenges.
