Mark Holland, Minister of Health Announces $7.6 Million Investment to Increase Vaccine Uptake and Confidence
Despite never-ending public health lies and propaganda campaigns, vaccine hesitancy continues to grow in Canada
In a recent announcement, the Canadian government has unveiled a $7.6 million investment through the Immunization Partnership Fund (IPF) to support 31 new community-based projects over the next two years aimed at boosting vaccine uptake and confidence. However, this significant investment starkly contrasts with the almost complete lack of resources allocated for individuals injured by vaccines, a group that has grown increasingly large and vocal.
Canada’s Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) was established in December 2020, in preparation for the COVID-19 experimental mRNA gene therapy vaccine roll out. It purports to support people who have suffered serious and permanent injuries or death as a result of receiving any Health Canada authorized vaccines, administered in Canada on or after Dec. 8, 2020.
In April 2024, the VISP was allocated an additional $36 million due to an overwhelming number of reported injuries and deaths. Yet as of December 2023, the firm has only paid $11.2 million in compensation. Quebec is the only Province to have its own vaccine injury compensation program since 1985 and received $7.75 million when the federal program launched.
Sheila Gunn Reid and Rebel News Senior Editor Tamara Ugolini took a look at the growing concern over Canada’s VISP following recent revelations uncovered through an access to information filing.
A critical gap remains: thousands of Canadians who have been injured by COVID-19 vaccines face severe challenges and feel that their concerns are not being adequately acknowledged or addressed by health authorities. This has only led to a growing mistrust in the vaccination program, further exacerbating hesitancy.
As Canada continues to invest in boosting vaccine uptake, the glaring lack of support for vaccine injury victims by our Health Minister and Chief Public Health Officer must be addressed.
Ensuring resources are allocated, in a timely manner, to provide support for those adversely affected is essential for restoring public trust in public health.
It has been well documented that the COVID-19 vaccines are neither safe nor effective. A new study of 17 countries found a “definite causal link” between peaks in all-cause mortality and the rapid rollouts of the COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.
As of January 5, 2024, there were 58,712 COVID-19 vaccine adverse event reports in Canada. Health Canada has stopped updating the number of reports on its website since that time.
If you or someone you know have suffered a COVID-19 vaccine injury or death, please report it here.
