Children’s Health Defense Canada Joins Forces to Demand Accountability from PHAC

Open Letter to the Public Health Agency of Canada

In an effort to ensure the safety and well-being of Canadian children, Children’s Health Defense Canada, along with Vaccine Choice Canada, Canada Health Alliance, the World Council for Health Canada, La Main des Enfants, and Mama Bears, has co-authored a powerful open letter addressing the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). The letter directly challenges the claims made in PHAC’s publication, “A Parent’s Guide to Vaccination,” which inaccurately declares vaccines as “safe, effective and necessary” without appropriate qualifiers or evidence.

A Critical Response to PHAC’s Claims

The joint letter outlines a series of problematic statements made in the guide, including claims that vaccines are the primary reason for the decline in childhood diseases, that they undergo rigorous long-term testing and that they provide lifelong immunity. The letter highlights independent research and historical data, calling into question PHAC’s assertions and emphasizing the lack of long-term placebo-controlled trials for childhood vaccines.

Furthermore, the letter raises concerns about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines, citing recent studies and testimonies that challenge its effectiveness and underscore the potential risks, particularly for young people.

Key Points from the Letter

  • Inadequate Safety Testing: No vaccine on the childhood schedule in Canada has undergone long-term placebo-controlled trials.

  • Misleading Claims: Statements such as “diseases are now rare because of vaccines” ignore broader public health advancements like sanitation, nutrition and hygiene.

  • COVID-19 Vaccine Concerns: The letter accuses PHAC of criminal negligence and references data revealing increased risks of myocarditis and other adverse events in young people following mRNA vaccination.

  • Violation of Informed Consent: By failing to provide full and accurate information, PHAC undermines the ability of parents to make informed decisions for their children.

The letter represents a unified effort from various advocacy groups and experts who are committed to holding health agencies accountable for the safety of Canadian children. Alongside the authors, findings from Children’s Health Defense, the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), the National Citizens Inquiry, and numerous independent researchers have contributed to this critical initiative.

Call for Immediate Action

CHD Canada and co-authors of the letter believe that the PHAC’s actions constitute criminal negligence. The agency is disregarding the clear risks posed by vaccines and failing to provide Canadians with the full information necessary to make informed decisions. The misleading and fear-driven tactics used to promote vaccination must cease immediately.

We call for the following actions:

  • Immediate Retraction of “A Parent’s Guide to Vaccination” and all claims about vaccine safety that lack proper scientific evidence.

  • Issue a Public Apology, emphasizing the ethical and legal responsibilities of health agencies to provide truthful, evidence-based information.

  • Suspension of the Use of mRNA Vaccines: The use of mRNA technology should be halted until proper safety and efficacy testing can demonstrate a clear benefit-to-risk ratio.

  • Transparency and Accountability: The PHAC must provide full disclosure of the risks associated with vaccines, including the COVID-19 vaccine, and stop withholding important information from the public.
