Scientists Publish New ‘Map’ Alleging How Aluminum in Vaccines Can Trigger Brain Injury
A newly released scientific review led by Children’s Health Defense Chief Scientific Officer Brian Hooker, presents a detailed biological framework explaining how aluminum-based adjuvants used in vaccines could trigger brain inflammation and injury that manifests as autism in genetically susceptible infants and children.
The review analyzes more than 200 peer-reviewed studies across immunology, toxicology, genetics, neuropathology, and epidemiology. The authors conclude the evidence collectively supports a causal pathway by which injected aluminum nanoparticles provoke immune activation, leading to neuroinflammation during critical periods of early brain development — the same window when synaptic pruning and neural organization are taking place.
A key focus of the paper is the often-ignored distinction between ingested aluminum and injected aluminum adjuvants. According to the authors, safety claims frequently rely on dietary exposure models, even though injected aluminum is specifically designed to stimulate the immune system. It is this immune-mediated brain inflammation, they argue, that provides a plausible mechanism linking aluminum adjuvants to autism spectrum disorder — not organ toxicity or aluminum accumulation alone.
The authors describe the paper as a long-missing “map” that connects decades of fragmented research into a coherent explanation of how aluminum-containing vaccines could cause brain injury that presents clinically as autism.
Christopher Shaw, Ph.D., a neuroscientist and professor in the faculty of medicine at the University of British Columbia and one of the report’s authors, said he hopes the paper will catch the eye of CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). He said:
“Let’s hope ACIP will look at the paper and conclude that aluminum should have no part in vaccines and begin the process for at least removing it from pediatric vaccines, let alone for all vaccines.
“Or alternatively, force the pharma industry to create vaccines with no aluminum or begin the process of finding and testing safer adjuvants.”
