Fauci Caught Ordering Emails Deleted — U.S. Senate Calls Him to Testify

Newly uncovered emails reveal that Dr. Anthony Fauci instructed National Institutes of Health (NIH) staff to delete official communications, directly contradicting his sworn testimony before Congress. Senator Rand Paul, Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC), has formally called for Fauci to testify before the Committee to address these discrepancies.

In a February 2020 email, Fauci directed then-NIH Director Francis Collins to “Please delete this e-mail after you read it.” A July 2020 email to his Chief of Staff contained similar instructions. These actions suggest a deliberate attempt to conceal information related to the origins of COVID-19 and the U.S. government’s response.

Senator Paul has requested that Fauci provide all emails, messages and call records from 2018 to 2023 related to the origins of COVID-19, gain-of-function research, EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The Committee has also invited Fauci to testify before HSGAC this fall to clarify his previous statements and address the growing body of evidence suggesting efforts to conceal records from congressional investigators.

These revelations raise serious concerns about transparency and accountability in public health leadership. As investigations continue, the implications for public trust in scientific and governmental institutions remain significant.
