Congratulations to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on His Confirmation as HHS Secretary!
A New Era for Public Health: Transparency, Science and Reform
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was officially sworn in as the 26th U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services after a 52-48 Senate vote. As the founder of Children’s Health Defense, Kennedy has vowed to end the chronic disease epidemic in children and restore integrity to federal health agencies, including the NIH, FDA and CDC.
CHD CEO Mary Holland celebrated his confirmation, stating:
“Bobby richly deserves this honor, and CHD is confident that he will make great strides toward the goals he has set for HHS: radical transparency, gold-standard science, and making America healthy again.”
Kennedy’s appointment has sparked international discussion, particularly here in Canada, where concerns over public health policies and regulatory transparency mirror many of the issues he aims to address in the U.S.
Children’s Health Defense Canada and parents across North America welcome this historic step and look forward to seeing the food and pharma reforms ahead.
Congratulations, Secretary Kennedy!
