1 in 10 Adults Seriously Injured by COVID Shots, New Survey Finds

A recent U.S. survey has revealed that roughly one in every 10 adults who received a COVID-19 vaccine experienced major side effects, while over a third reported minor side effects.

These numbers suggest that millions of adults are suffering significant harm from these injections — a concern that resonates for Canadians as similar vaccine campaigns occurred here.

The survey, conducted by Rasmussen Reports this month, included 1,292 adults and showed a 36% rate of minor side effects. It also found that 46% of adults, vaccinated and unvaccinated, believe COVID shots may have caused a significant number of unexplained deaths.

Kristi Dobbs, who was seriously injured after her first Pfizer COVID shot in January 2021, told The Defender:

“The vaccine-injured are still hurting, dying and being discarded as trash.”

Dobbs and others have repeatedly warned U.S. authorities, including the National Institutes of Health, CDC, FDA, and major hospitals, about widespread vaccine injuries — but, she says, their concerns were largely ignored.

Similarly, Canadian healthcare professionals and researchers have expressed caution about long-term effects of mRNA COVID shots. Cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough has noted a “never-ending stream of patients with new diseases” after COVID vaccination. Dr. Joseph Varon, president of the Independent Medical Alliance, reported a “marked rise in heart inflammation, unusual cancers, and other concerning conditions” among recipients of these vaccines.

Underreported Injuries and Limited Compensation

U.S. government data shows over 1.6 million COVID vaccine injuries reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), with more than 220,000 serious enough to require hospitalization. Experts note that VAERS historically captures only a fraction of actual cases, meaning true injury rates could be far higher.

In Canada, vaccine injury reporting and compensation are far less visible. While Health Canada has acknowledged adverse events following immunization, there is no equivalent federal program to fully compensate those who experience serious vaccine-related harm, raising concerns about long-term safety monitoring and accountability.

Fighting to Be Seen and Heard

Dobbs, along with advocacy groups like REACT19, emphasizes that vaccine injuries are real, widespread, and underrecognized.

“If we refuse to honestly recognize and investigate these injuries, we undermine the very principles that keep medicine evolving and patients safe,” said REACT19 community outreach officer Nikki Holland.

As governments worldwide expand vaccination programs, including in Canada, these stories highlight the importance of transparent reporting, thorough safety monitoring, and robust support for those who are injured.

“We will be seen, heard and believed,” Dobbs said, reflecting the determination of those fighting for recognition and justice.
