COVID-19 Vaccines Linked to Increased Cancer Risk in Italy
A July 2025 peer-reviewed study in EXCLI Journal analyzed nearly 300,000 residents of Pescara province, Italy, and found a 23% increase in cancer diagnoses within 180 days of COVID-19 vaccination.
Breast and bladder cancers rose 54% and 62%, respectively, while colorectal, uterine, and ovarian cancers also showed upward trends.
Medical commentator John Campbell, Ph.D., discussed the findings on his YouTube channel, noting that biological mechanisms such as chronic inflammation, autoimmune reactions and DNA contamination may explain the associations.
The study underscores growing post-marketing evidence and highlights the need for public awareness and transparency regarding long-term risks.
