Spike Protein Found in Female Stroke Victims Up to 17 Months After COVID Shots

Researchers detected vaccine-derived spike protein in brain arteries, raising concerns about the long-term effects of mRNA shots.

A new peer-reviewed study out of Japan has found COVID-19 vaccine-derived spike protein lingering in the brain arteries of women who suffered hemorrhagic strokesup to 17 months after vaccination. None of the women had active COVID-19 infections, confirming the spike protein originated from mRNA vaccines, not the virus.

Published in the Journal of Clinical Neuroscience, the study examined 19 stroke cases and found spike protein present in the cerebral arteries of 43.8% of patients — all of them women. The findings challenge government claims that vaccine spike protein remains localized and short-lived, raising what researchers call “significant concerns” about the long-term biodistribution and safety of lipid nanoparticle-based vaccines.

Experts warn that the prolonged presence of spike protein could trigger chronic inflammation, clotting issues, and neurological damage. Dr. Karl Jablonowski of Children’s Health Defense called the findings “a big problem,” pointing to the potential for ongoing harm from what he described as an “exceptionally long-lasting vaccination effect.”

Dr. Christof Plothe of the World Council for Health echoed calls for a global moratorium on mRNA vaccines, citing growing evidence of lasting vascular and immune system damage. Other recent studies have shown spike protein expression persisting in human tissue for over two years post-vaccination.

The study underscores the urgent need for independent, long-term safety research and casts further doubt on the accelerated approval and promotion of mRNA shots — particularly for healthy populations and children.
